Top Five Theme Parks in the USA

Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio tops all the others with over 15 adrenaline pumping roller coasters. Top Thrill Dragster is one of the tallest and fastest coasters in the world. Planet Snoopy is a great addition for the kids in the group.

Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom is located in Allentown, Pennsylvania. It boasts such rides as possessed, a strange vertical type coaster with tracks that end in the air, Steel Force, with a 205 foot drop, and Hydra, a floorless coaster that flips and twists riders around. Kings Dominion, in Doswell, Virginia, not only has the rides, but the themes are fantastic. The Congo area, for instance, is like walking through an African nature preserve. Check out the 305 foot drop tower and the volcano coaster, which shoots riders out of a volcano.

Busch Gardens, in Williamsburg, Virginia is abundant with trees and shade, unlike other parks. The Loch Ness Monster coaster and Apollo’s Chariot are worth the trip.

Dollywood, in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, really keeps to the “theme” in theme park. Eleven themed areas such as Timber Canyon and Wilderness Pass make this an excellent place to go with children. There are rides for everyone, including an authentic full size steam train.
