The Gifford Pinchot National Forest, located in Washington, is one of the oldest national forest in the country. Visitors to Gifford Pinchot often enjoy visiting Mount St Helens, one of the most famous volcanoes in the states.

Visitors to Uncompahgre National Forest in Colorado can experience the mountain scenery by driving on the Million Dollar Highway, while visitors to Kaibab National Forest in Arizona can experience the Grand Canyon by staying overnight at the Spring Valley Cabin or at the Hull Cabin. When visiting the Nantahala National Forest you will get to experience the wilderness of North Carolina. “Nantahala” is Cherokee for land of “the noonday sun”.
